The Westside Community Park Committee recently received a donation in the amount of $65, 022.78 from the Trust of McIntire. This very generous donation will be put to use soon to fund the construction of 600 feet of curb, gutter and sidewalk along the eastern edge of the parking lot at the Jane Barnes Field. This will enhance the walking trail and increase the safety of players on the field by adding a curb to help prevent vehicles from accidentally driving down the embankment and onto the field.
